History360° is a digital heritage platform designed to help heritage organisations, destinations, communities and educational organisations create their own interactive heritage experiences.

Individual experiences can be configured with their own locations, historical content, imagery, virtual tours and digital interpretation, while maintaining their own identity and connection to the places they represent.

The History360° Ipswich experience demonstrates how these elements can be brought together within a single place-based digital environment.

HistoryBot — AI Heritage Guide

At the heart of the experience is HistoryBot, an AI-powered heritage guide designed to help visitors explore historical information through natural, conversational questions.

Rather than providing a generic chatbot experience, HistoryBot can be configured around the historical information, locations and sources associated with an individual History360° experience.

Within History360° Ipswich, HistoryBot provides contextual information about selected locations across the area. Visitors can ask questions about these places and explore their historical significance through conversation.

The system is continually being developed and the information available within HistoryBot will expand as additional locations, sources and historically verified material are incorporated.

HistoryBot is intended as an interpretive and educational tool rather than a replacement for primary sources or formal historical research. Visitors undertaking academic or detailed historical research should continue to consult archival materials and established historical publications.
